Look to God #18 |
Ephesians 3:20-21 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
We want to be strong people, independent people, people who can “get the job done”. What happens when we are not able to do it? What happens when we do not have the inner resources to accomplish the task? What happens when we get to that point in life when we reach deep down inside ourselves and realize we are empty? Where do we turn? To whom do we turn? There is One who is more than capable. There is One who is able. There is One with unlimited resources and ability. |

We Have the Love of Christ |
Ephesians 3:14-19 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
True love can be such an elusive concept. At times we think we understand it. At times we think we experience it. At times we believe it is in our life and at times it seems to leave us. The elusiveness of love is not due to love passing us by, but rather to our not understanding what God has so freely offered. |

We Have a Mission |
Ephesians 3:7-13 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
Do you walk through life wondering who am I and what am I here for? What if the answer to both those questions were at your fingertips? Would you listen and then act?

We Are Equal |
Ephesians 3:1-6 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
Mysteries are intriguing things. People spend lifetimes and fortunes seeking the answers to some of life’s most perplexing enigmas. What about the mystery of Christ? What if this mystery was revealed to others before you who in turn passed on to you the key to it’s understanding? What if this mystery changed who you are and affected the rest of your life? |

We Are a New Community |
Ephesians 2:19-22 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
Have you ever moved to a new community? What if you not only lived in that community, but were called to be a vital, integral part of that community? What if that community was not a place or a thing, but a people; a people called by God and set aside for His purposes? |

We Are One Body |
Ephesians 2:11-18 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
Conflict has become an accepted norm around the world and in our communities from ages past to present reality. But what if there was a way for conflict to be resolved where both parties became someone new and were able to live in harmony and peace. This new reality has been made possible through intervention by God Himself as He takes multiple people and makes them one body. |

Who We Are By Grace |
Ephesians 2:4-10 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
Why is it that God should love someone like me? All I
deserve is His wrath. How is it that God would save me from His own
wrath? I do not deserve being saved. Above all this, would God then
work His purposes through me? The answer is an emphatic yes, yes, yes.
God loves me, God saves me, and God works through me. |

The Way We Were |
Ephesians 2:1-3 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
Paul has painted this incredible picture of all God has done for His saints and Paul has prayed for the saints to know God’s calling, inheritance, and power. But now Paul reviews for us who we were before Christ did His work in our lives and it is not a pretty picture. Paul reminds us from where we have come before he rejoices in the incredible grace God has given us. |

Do You See It? |
Ephesians 1:18-23 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
We see many things in our lives and experience many truths. Some truths come into view clearly and obviously, while other truths are missed by a lack of knowledge, a lack of understanding, or sometimes by a hardness of heart. This prayer purposes for us to know our heavenly Father and to know His working in our lives. |

What Are You Known For? |
Ephesians 1:15-17 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
Abraham Lincoln is known for honesty. Iwo Jima is known for a major World War II battle. McDonald’s is known for hamburgers. What about you? What are you known for? Explore what God is looking for in His people and in His Church. |

God The Spirit Will Not Let Go of Me |
Ephesians 1:13-14 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
Small children know the security of Dad or Mom not letting go of them in a busy store. Soldiers know the security of never leaving a fellow soldier behind. What would it mean for God to not let go of us? Ever! What would the end of that story look like? |

The Attitude of Faithful Perseverance ~ A Pauline Example |
Acts 20:17-38 |
|
| Sean O'Brien |
The command of Paul to the Ephesian church elders that were committed to in God's grace is that they should have an attitude of perseverance in their ministry and be faithful to their appointment as overseers, as he himself had shown to them by his own attitude during his ministry.
Being committed to God's grace, the proper attitude of perseverance in ministry is faithfulness.
Since we have been committed to God's grace, our attitude in ministry should be that of perseverance, endurance, and faithfulness. |

God The Son Gave All For Me |
Ephesians 1:7-12 |
|
| Kevin DeStefano |
Remember Cinderella? She was part of a household, but not part of a family. She was excluded and treated poorly. What if you were in the family of God and were included and treated royally? What would you know? What would you have? To what length would God go for you? The answer is one of life and death. |

Ephesians 1:4-6 |

Ephesians 1:3-3 |

There are those who strive after material possessions only to find them elusive. What about spiritual blessings? Are they obtainable? Who has them? Who gets them? You may be surprised to discover what you already have. |

A Ministry of Privilege and Compassion (The Ministry of Reconciliation) |
2Corinthians 5:11-21 |
|
| Sean O'Brien |
The topic we are going to cover this morning… Is near and dear to me and I believe should be the 'Banner' if you will of every Christian.
I mean if we could liken the gospel to a tumbler set in a Bolt lock set; this often glossed over text is the key that goes in the key hole and unlocks the great truths of the gospel.
I truly believe that what we have here is FOUNDATIONAL to our proper understanding of and orientation to THE GOSPEL. |
